Aliss is a licensed marriage and family therapist, psychedelic therapist, group facilitator, integration coach, and consultant. She holds an M.A. in Integral Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies and B.A. in Liberal Studies with emphases in English Literature and Business from UC Riverside. After a decade in tech manufacturing and IP licensing, Aliss embarked on a purpose-driven career change.
Her journey led her to contribute to pioneering research in the field of psychedelic therapy through MDMA and psilocybin clinical studies. She served as the Adherence and Supervision Coordinator of MAPS-sponsored Phase III clinical trial of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD. Aliss also brings her wealth of knowledge and experience to aspiring psychedelic therapists, having served as a former mentor and group facilitator for Integrative Psychiatry Institute’s psychedelic therapy certification program, guiding individuals toward excellence in this transformative field.
