In effort to expand accessibility to ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), I offer several paths of treatment at various price points. I embrace a three-phase treatment model when working with KAP: preparation, journey/medicine, and integration, and enjoy folding in somatic work and brainspotting into preparation and integration as well as group integration.
Hi there, I’m Betsy. I believe that while pain and loss are inescapable facets of the human experience, we can integrate them into the rest of our lives when we connect to another. My guiding assumption as a therapist is that you have an inner healing intelligence inside of you and it’s our collaborative work to cultivate your access to it by gently examining that which no longer serves you to reclaim your whole self. You are neurobiologically wired to heal. In tending to core wounds within a safe relationship, we facilitate an environment for negative beliefs and patterns to be transformed. In our work together, I’ll draw from trauma-informed, attachment-oriented, somatic, and mindfulness therapeutic approaches to bring awareness to your lived experience and foster change. I enjoy working with adults experiencing developmental and complex trauma, religious harm and deconstruction, end of life, and grief and loss. I received a Master’s degree in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University, a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Boston University, and have training in Brainspotting, Hypnotherapy, Somatic Attachment and Regulation Strategies, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. My therapeutic style is deeply relational with emphasis on collaboration and curiosity.
