Josh Kriegel, MD

Psychiatrist, Licensed
Watertown MA
My approach to psychotherapy is dynamic and highly personalized. I may incorporate elements from psychodynamic psychotherapy, internal family systems, mindfulness-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as elements from traditional movement modalities (i.e qigong, yoga) and breathwork. With the help of biofeedback and neurofeedback, clients gain the ability to regulate the nervous system. These techniques can facilitate feelings of trust and safety, which are most conducive to effective psychotherapy.
I am a psychiatrist who brings a holistic approach to each patient. I completed my medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine and my psychiatry residency at the University of Massachusetts.
