I am trained in psychodynamic, internal family systems, Imago, and psychedelic-integration therapies. While I may have a degree, you are the expert on you. I endeavor to keep learning and growing beyond my own perspective, especially when doing so feels uncomfortable. Forging a therapeutic partnership that honors who you are, where you have been, your strengths and growth areas, and how you want life to look moving forward is my ultimate goal.
Based these days in the Capital District of New York State (Albany/Troy/Saratoga Springs), I have recently opened up my own practice after working in community organizations and group practices for many years. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked with refugees and displaced peoples in other countries, which first sparked my interest and passion for trauma healing and research. When I am not working with clients, I participate in local community organizing efforts, hike and camp, make art and crafts, garden and renovate my old house.
