Marriage and Family Therapist

I acknowledge that unearthing what lies beneath layers of self-protection and defenses is often the most challenging aspect of personal growth. My role is to help individuals bring compassionate attention to their human experience, whether it's boundless joy or deep sadness. Through creative exploration, my clients become more attuned to their inner and outer worlds, enabling them to navigate struggles and uncertainties with greater resilience. Ultimately, my goal is to support the inherent healing wisdom within individuals so that they may discover their authentic selves.
As a dedicated professional in the field of psychotherapy for 15 years, I draw upon Eastern philosophies and practices, such as yoga, Buddhist psychology, mindfulness, and holistic wellness, to guide individuals and couples through a wide range of challenges. My career path has been diverse, reflecting my commitment to making a difference in various communities. I have served as a therapist in transitional housing programs for survivors of domestic violence, offered crisis intervention and treatment for at-risk youth as a mental health clinician, and worked as an addiction therapist in the Department of Addiction Medicine at Kaiser Permanente. In 2014 I opened my private practice, providing integrative psychotherapy for adults and and couples.
