Ann McKnight, LCSW
Individual, couples, family and group work. My professional scope of practice does not include supplying medicines nor direct personal support of psychedelic experience. Training and education in harm reduction, preparation for and integration of psychedelic work is part of my work as a psychotherapist.
Since graduating from the University of Chicago with a Master's in Social Work, I have over 30 years of experience exploring the world of healing and wholeness. I spent 10 years working in inpatient psychiatry and the last 20 have been in private practice. Exploring the ways that different states of consciousness are integral to healing--whether through Internal Family Systems (IFS), bodywork, EMDR, Brainspotting, Acceptance Committment Therapy (ACT), centering prayer, mindfulness--remains at the heart of my work. Completing MAPS training and Post-Graduate Certification in Psychedelic Harm Reduction and Integration through Fluence were natural next steps for me.
