Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

With a background in meditation and yoga, sessions with me integrate both insight-oriented and skills-based approaches to include the mind, body, and soul. I work with clients to explore the root barriers, to gain new awareness into emotional and relational patterns. At the same time, I focus on practical strategies, with an emphasis on relaxation and meditation practices, to help clients integrate their felt experience. If you are interested in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, I have partnered with a physician who administers the medication either at their office in Brentwood, California or in the comfort of your own home (depending on where you reside). If you are interested in learning more about my practice please contact me to book a free 15-minute exploratory call to see if we are the right fit for one another.
I received my dual master’s degree from UCLA in Public Health and African Studies and then returned to my love for psychology ten years later, receiving my Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I began my clinical experience at The Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, seeing adults with depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. After nearly two years, I worked for Kaiser Permanente’s Addiction Medicine and Recovery Services (AMRS) program in San Francisco, focusing on adults and adolescents with substance use and co-occurring disorders. There I provided out-patient care, case management, and therapeutic groups on substance use, mindfulness, and family systems. In 2020, I started my private practice while working for two treatment centers. At Clear Mind Treatment, I applied psychotherapeutic and family system theories and techniques in the delivery of services to individuals and groups for the purpose of treating diagnosed substance use and psychiatric disorders. The practice combined three neuromodulation therapies, Ketamine, TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation), and Neurofeedback, with traditional Mental Health IOP/PHP. At Serenity Trauma Treatment Center, I taught restorative yoga and provided trauma-informed psychotherapy including EMDR and Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM). Since then, I have completed my training in Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAP) through the Psychedelic Coalition for Health (PCH). I currently work with a medical doctor in Los Angeles who administers ketamine, while I provide psychotherapy before and after the ketamine treatment (and sometimes during the ketamine treatment). In my private practice, I specialize in addiction, trauma/collective trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and co-occurring disorders.
