Licensed Professional Counselor

I have experienced grief, joy, failure, and success in life, and my clients tell me I am easy to relate to because I don’t pretend to be someone I am not. I find having so many interesting experiences around the world helps bring uniqueness to the counseling room. I am fascinated by relationships and the interplay of faith, family, and our environment. When I meet with clients, I’m a down-to-earth straight shooter - not a flowery unicorn and rainbows kind of therapist. At the same time, I’m not afraid to shed a tear or two with clients when journeying through the hard stuff! Ultimately, I am passionate about helping my clients thrive in life and always find myself in awe of the human spirit.
I love working with veterans who suffer from PTSD. Prior to my life as a mental health professional, I was a soldier in infantry and special operations units in the military and have a heart for seeing vets and those who serve our country and communities heal.
