I utilize a client-centered approach, basing each client's treatment plan on their own strengths, needs, abilities, and preference. I draw from my experience to provide clients with the tools needed as we partner with a shared goal of healing and self-improvement.
I specialize in treating mood and anxiety disorders, addiction disorders, trauma disorders, and thought disorders. My experience includes serving transgender and gender non-conforming individuals and couples, as well as those questioning or exploring their sexual orientation. I also have experience with individuals facing mental health concerns related to chronic health conditions. I primarily serve adults and couples and especially enjoy working with young adults and young professionals. I've worked with individuals, families, and couples in outpatient clinics, community mental health, and medical settings. I have also served as a Clinical Supervisor and have provided supervision for intern social workers and newly licensed social work professionals. I enjoy providing therapy services for other helping professionals who find themselves in need of additional support. Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy spending time in nature, traveling, thrift-store shopping, and practicing yoga. During my downtime, I am often found out in the woods, or curled up with a good book with my dog by my side.
