I will accompany you in a process of welcome, discovery, awareness and transformation. You are at the heart of a journey through which I will invite you to feel, breathe and slowly understand yourself in order to restore your power to act as an independent person.
The session usually includes sophrology techniques, active listening, body awareness exercises, breathing exercises, static or moving relaxation, positive visualization and meditation. To learn to be simply in consciousness, in the here and now, the present moment, without judgment, anticipation, or rumination. It is an exploration of past wounds and traumas in order to defuse and pacify them. To learn to welcome and accept yourself as a whole with kindness.
I am of Lebanese origin born in Sierra Leone and grew up in France, Switzerland, Lebanon, and the United Kingdom. Multi-cultural and multi-lingual. I believe this to be important as it allows open-mindedness and flexibility in my therapeutic approach. As well as understanding the vastness and diversity of « the person » as a whole.
After obtaining my BA in Psychology and Politics and then an MA in Journalism in the UK, I decided to work in the corporate world before dedicating myself to raising my two children and moving to France in 2004. I ran a successful Gite business before going back to my original love and interest in therapy and psychology with a special and growing interest in psychedelics and how to integrate their benefits in my psychotherapy approach.
My greatest loves are books, poetry, travel, music, philosophy, mindfullness and of course the multi-dimensional aspects of psychotherapy with a strong inclusion of « The Body ». I am continuously training to improve myself and my skills. Inquisitive, deep thinking, feeling, intuitive and open with a respect for others in their diversity. Being a therapist is the natural and vocational path for me today and I strive to transmit that in my practice.
