Alexis Naim, LCSW

Alexis D. Naim is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) specializing in the treatment of couples and family systems. She has been in private practice in psychotherapy for over 20 years, working with individuals and families through an attachment and trauma based lens. In 2019, Alexis and her husband, Dr. Omid Naim, founded La Maida Project, a non-profit organization whose vision is to reframe how we see mental health and create solutions based in community. Prior to this Alexis was an Associate Professor and Founding Clinician in the Intensive Family Therapy Program of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco.
