Trauma Informed Psychedelic and Integration Registered Nurse Coach

Most people considering this work carry the same quiet question: what if something goes wrong? I built my entire career inside that question. Over three decades in western medicine, twenty-seven of them in emergency and trauma: level 1 trauma flight nursing, fixed wing medical transport, Emergency Department Charge Nurse, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, Chest Pain and Stroke Coordinator. I built and credentialed Tennessee's first nationally certified chest pain program from the ground up. I have been the calmest person in the room while someone's heart stopped, more times than I can count. Here is what those years taught me that matters for this work: I already knew the territory the medicine opens before I ever sat in ceremony. Every code blue, every last breath, every moment where the veil goes thin. When I met the dissolution that plant medicine offers, I recognized it. I had spent my life keeping people steady at that exact edge. The decade of plant medicine research and practice that followed taught me the other half. Being skilled in a crisis is one thing. Being settled enough inside your own body that your calm becomes something another person can borrow is a different education entirely, and it cannot be faked in a ceremony room. I founded Ohm Academy of Healing in Nashville to bring both educations to the same chair. My work spans plant medicine preparation and integration, Kambo facilitation, somatic coaching and nervous system regulation grounded in allostasis, interoception, heart rate variability, and Internal Family Systems, and sound healing on the Hydroacoustic Sound Bed, an instrument I invented and hold the patent. If you have a heart condition, a medication list, a health history that makes other facilitators hesitate, or a body that has simply carried too much for too long, I am the person other practitioners send those clients to. Your fear of what could go wrong is welcome here. It will be met by someone who has spent her whole life answering it.
Every program runs on the same spine: clinical screening most facilitators cannot offer, preparation that readies the nervous system and not just the mind, and integration that makes the change stick. Preparation Coaching. One-on-one sessions to clarify intentions, screen thoroughly for safety including medications and health history, and build the internal steadiness that lets the medicine do its work. Ceremony Facilitation. Clinically grounded ceremony work including Sacred Ceremony, Kambo, with medical screening, emergency preparedness, and a regulated presence holding the room from start to finish. Integration Coaching. Post-experience support to help you make sense of what surfaced, anchor it in your body and daily life, and keep the change from fading once the glow does. Somatic Coaching and Nervous System Regulation. Ongoing work for people rebuilding a system that has carried too much for too long, grounded in allostasis, interoception, heart rate variability, and Internal Family Systems. Sound Healing. Sessions on the Hydroacoustic Sound Bed, an instrument I invented and hold the patent on, using vibration and frequency to settle the body at a level talk cannot reach. The Clinical Doula. Concierge clinical companion support for people navigating serious medical experiences who want a seasoned nurse at their side. If other practitioners have hesitated over your health history, start with me. Send a message and tell me where you are. We will find the shape that fits.
