I welcome the “messiness” within us all, and the complexities therein of each of our unique experiences. I want to help you create a life you can be proud of, one written by your own hands. The healing isn’t going anywhere, it will still be there when you arrive.
Before I am a therapist, I am a Storyteller first. So I know first-hand how impactful the stories we tell about ourselves are—these stories determine who we are, who we believe we can be, and how we feel we are allowed to show up in the world. I believe in the journey of Self-Actualization. Who were you, before the world convinced you that someone else could tell your story better than you could?
As a Black woman with deep Southern roots, I know first-hand, the importance of understanding who you are, and where you’ve come from, in order to get to where you’re going. I know how hard it is to distinguish who you are, from the people and places that formed and shaped you. To love these parts of yourself that may be hard to understand, or accept. That it can be overwhelming to discern your own voice, from the voices of those around you. And that the journey of Becoming, doesn’t necessarily get easier, or less hazy—that there will always be obstacles and uncertainty, but your path is your own and it will find you if you let it.
Alongside traditional talk therapy, I offer ongoing and adjunctive Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy to those who might be a good fit for it at this time. There are also options available to participate in group therapy sessions covering a variety of interests and needs, including: Women of Color dream work and community integration, grief, end-of-life, and spiritual emergence psychedelic integration.
