My name is Blaire and I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner, and somatic coach. I’m married, have two kids, and live in Bend, OR. Before finding my way to medicine, I was an herbalist and clinical aromatherapist. I graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2007, completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine in 2010, and a Post-Masters in 2022. Since that time, I’ve had the opportunity to work with individuals with various mental and physical health conditions in numerous settings, including public health, hospice, and outpatient clinics. Through 10 years of working in the Integrative Health Field with those with chronic physical and mental health conditions, I saw the importance of providing trauma-informed care and engaging in trauma-responsive practices. In addition, I have been dedicated to ongoing education to facilitate mental health and wellbeing; these trainings include Somatic Experiencing, professional mindfulness facilitation, ketamine assisted psychotherapy, and most recently, completing training in MDMA therapy through MAPS.
