Psychodynamic Psychotherapist

I believe that deep personal change is possible, but it requires the right frame—what in psychedelic work is often called “set and setting.” The mindset you bring and the environment we create together form the foundation for safely revealing hidden truths. My role is to help facilitate that discovery by gently nurturing what is ready to emerge.
Through Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), I support clients navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, or a general sense of feeling “stuck” to gain new perspectives and reconnect with their vitality. Ketamine can help quiet the mind’s usual defenses, allowing emotions and insights to surface with greater clarity and compassion, while fostering new neural connections through neurogenesis.
Before each KAP session, we set clear intentions and establish a supportive frame to help you feel grounded and prepared. During the session, I encourage you to trust the medicine and allow it to guide your process—if a door appears, you might open it; if discomfort arises, I’m there to support you. We can also integrate spirituality into our work, honoring whatever feels authentic and meaningful to you. In our integration sessions, we revisit the themes, emotions, and symbolism that emerged, making meaning of them together and exploring how they might inform your daily life.
My hope is that this process helps you feel renewed—more open, connected, and aligned with your most authentic self, fully alive to the possibilities within and around you.
I have been working in the mental health field for over a decade in various roles—as a researcher, substance use counselor, and now as a licensed psychodynamic psychotherapist. My experiences have taught me that deep transformation occurs within a collaborative relationship and a container that fosters emotional and personal safety. Healing isn’t about “fixing” oneself, but rather creating space to become more aware of one’s thoughts, feelings, limitations, and desires—reclaiming the capacity to connect more authentically with oneself and others.
I received a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University and hold a B.A. in Psychology from UC Berkeley. Beyond my formal Western training in understanding the human psyche, I integrate Eastern perspectives of mindfulness and flow, which remind us that healing unfolds when we soften control, trust the process, and allow awareness itself to be the guide. My framework with clients is part theoretical, part creative, and part humanistic. I received my certification in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy through Alchemy Community Therapy Center in Oakland and am currently undergoing training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis.
When I’m not working with clients, I can often be found exploring California’s natural beauty—among the redwood coasts or the granite boulders of the Sierras—beekeeping, engaging in creative pursuits, and spending time in community
I offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in partnership with ISHA Health, who provide medical evaluation and prescriptions. Beyond KAP, I provide psychotherapy to individuals and couples around issues of sex, intimacy, and relationships
