Psychotherapist and Integration Guide
Philadelphia PA
When done in an intentional, supported way, psychedelic experiences have the potential to open us up to new ways of thinking, feeling, and knowing, helping us tap into the parts of ourselves that know what we need to heal old wounds and get unstuck from old patterns. At the core of my work as a psychotherapist and integration guide is the belief that this type of healing happens best in the context of a safe, attuned, and reliable relationship. Many of the difficulties that bring people into therapy have roots in early relationship experiences—places where needs went unmet, emotions were misread or dismissed, or one’s sense of self had to be compromised in order to belong. In our sessions, I aim to offer something different: a consistent, compassionate presence where thoughts and feelings can emerge without judgment.
I have been a therapist and integration guide since 2018, and feel passionately that this is what I was meant to do. Before becoming a therapist I had another career as a racial justice and public health advocate. I hold degrees from Brown University, UC Berkeley, and Bryn Mawr, and have extensive training in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. Before starting my private practice, I worked as a ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and lead trainer at SoundMind Institute, where I ran weekend ketamine retreats and helped design their psychedelic therapy certification program. I am passionate about educating the public and other therapists about the power of psychedelics for mental health.
