Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Your story is essential to me.
Part of my job is to learn and know your story, understand your perspective, and gain insight into problems and obstacles interfering with your personal growth. I want to help guide you always with your best interest at heart.
My goal as your therapist is to explore the roots of your distress and reduce it by helping you see yourself, your environment, and your relationships with increasing clarity. I challenge my clients to open themselves up to change and personal growth by raising their awareness of their thought processes, patterns of functioning, and relationships with others.
I see my role as your guide and a follower in your meaningful and progressive journey to promote change. Connection, peaceful silence, laughter, and resilience are valuable pieces of this process. I listen closely and empathetically, but I do not stay silent if I feel that I can offer perspective, ideas, or a prompt to help you shift from, or better cope with, the uncomfortable.
As your therapist, I am committed to helping you turn your emotional pain into inner power and cultivate lasting change.
I am trained in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) which helps people process trauma and PTSD.
My therapy and what I’ve learned and continue to learn as a therapist have entirely transformed my life. I would argue that there is nothing more valuable than doing deep interior work that changes our lives for the better. This belief is why I’m so passionate about this work and love what I do. That is one of the first and most important things I want you to know about me.
In 2017, I received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology/Marriage and Family Therapy from John F. Kennedy University, and I am licensed to practice marriage and family therapy in California.
I have experience in psychotherapy and counseling and have provided support for clients ranging from children to adults. I also have training in treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief and depression.
Through Community Mental Health, I gained experience working with children and families in the foster system and worked with various ages of youth, teens, and adults. Currently, I am in private practice and am an Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy Provider and EMDR therapist who works primarily with adults trying to process trauma.
