I provide ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in-person in Boulder and virtually to clients in Colorado and California. Dr. Elowyn Samadhi, SEP (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice and at Sage Integrative Health, a holistic psychedelic clinic in the Bay Area. Dr. Samadhi provides in-person therapy in Boulder, Colorado and virtual therapy to California residents and anyone living in the 42 PsycPACT-approved states (https://psypact.gov/page/psypactmap). She specializes in the assessment and treatment of trauma, PTSD, and anxiety and depression-related disorders.
Dr. Samadhi earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts, completed her clinical residency at the San Francisco VA Hospital, an advanced postdoctoral research fellowship in PTSD at the San Francisco VA Hospital and UCSF Department of Psychiatry, and an additional research fellowship in PTSD in the UCSD Department of Psychiatry. She served as Chair for the Moral Injury special interest group for the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS) for 4 years. She worked as an independent contractor doing diagnostic assessments for the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD phase 2 and 3 clinical trials for 4 years. Dr. Samadhi completed Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy training with Polaris Insight and the MAPS MDMA-Assisted Therapy training program. She is trained and served as a psilocybin therapist on the UCSD randomized controlled trial for phantom limb pain for 2 years. She completed the yearlong UC-Berkeley Advanced Psychedelic Facilitation Training Certificate Program as well as the Memoru Psilocybin Facilitation Certificate. She also completed the 3-year Somatic Experiencing training and is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP).
