Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate
My work as a therapist is rooted in the principle that your own body contains an inner wisdom, not only to heal from the trauma and struggles of modern life, but to create your life in the way that you have always wanted. My goal is to help you tune in to your own inner wisdom, to walk beside you as a supportive guide as you navigate your healing path. I enjoy working with a wide range of client challenges. My specialty areas include working with anxiety, trauma-related issues, navigating major life transitions, existential issues, coping with chronic illness, identity exploration, substance abuse & addictions, and integration of spiritual and psychedelic experiences. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming practitioner, and account for the impact that discriminatory societal norms on the basis of race, gender, sexuality, and class have on each individual’s sense of self and overall mental health.
I have walked my own healing path in recovery from trauma and addiction. It is through my personal recovery that I was able to step into my true purpose, and ultimately my work as a therapist. In the midst of my recovery, I completed many yoga trainings, spent much time in sadhana at my ashram, returned to school for my degree in counseling psychology, and began to facilitate ceremonial group healing spaces in an effort to share this work. My journey opened me to the possibilities of transformation through direct experience and connection. It is my sincere hope to share this possibility with you.
