Erica Buchman, LPC
Mental Health Counseling Intern

I work with clients in several formats, depending on their needs, capacity, and goals. I offer virtual sessions for ongoing preparation, integration, and supportive therapeutic work, as well as in-person half-day intensives for more focused, extended sessions. I also provide in-person ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in collaboration with a licensed prescriber, with careful attention to preparation, integration, safety, and pacing. Across all formats, my work is strengths-based, validating, patient, and trauma-informed, with an emphasis on supporting stability and meaningful change in daily life.
I’m a therapist, group facilitator, and integration guide with a strong trauma-informed foundation and a deep respect for the nervous system, pacing, and context. My work integrates parts-based therapy and psychedelic integration, with an emphasis on safety, consent, and stability rather than intensity or insight-chasing. I support individuals and groups in making sense of their experiences in ways that reduce overwhelm and support regulation over time. I’m especially attentive to how early trauma, attachment patterns, culture, and belief systems shape coping and resilience, and how those same systems can be disrupted by psychedelic experiences if not approached carefully. My approach is relational, steady, and collaborative. I focus on helping people integrate what they’ve experienced into daily life in a way that feels grounded, coherent, and sustainable.
