Evelien Hekkelman, MD

Hi there! I am an anesthesiologist and pain specialist integrating holistic and spiritual practices to support chronic pain relief and personal transformation. My journey began with deep curiosity and a calling to help others, which led me through the structured path of medicine. While my training focused on the science of the body, I found myself on a parallel journey of self-discovery, exploring yoga, breathwork, psychedelics, and shamanic practices. These experiences reshaped my understanding of healing, revealing the powerful connection between mind, body, and spirit. Intrigued by the therapeutic potential of psychedelics, I trained at the MIND Foundation in their augmented psychotherapy training (APT) . I currently balance my work as an anesthesiologist and pain specialist with psychedelic work in Amsterdam. I’m also a proud mother of two.
