Hannah Carter, LMSW

Licensed Master Social Worker
New York City NY
She welcomes clients of all backgrounds, especially those seeking trauma-informed, body-centered, and holistic approaches to therapy.
Hannah is a somatic and trauma-based therapist committed to supporting clients in reconnecting with their bodies, reclaiming their wholeness, and moving toward personal and collective liberation. Hannah holds a MA in Social Work and a BA in Psychology. Her approach is rooted in holistic therapy, weaving together somatic practices, mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) , Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address the mind, body, and spirit in an integrated path toward healing. With experience in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Psychedelic Integration, Hannah holds space for expanded states of consciousness as meaningful tools for deep insight, regulation, and transformation. Her work is deeply informed by her time facilitating at an ayahuasca center in Pucallpa, Peru, where she had the honor of working alongside the Shipibo people and learning from their ancestral healing traditions.
