Hannah Cross, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Somatic therapies EMDR Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) Internal family systems (IFS) DBT
Hannah’s clinical work and training has been focused on assisting those with emotional, behavioral, and social concerns, many of which stem from a history of adverse childhood experiences, reach a place where their actions and lives are led by True Self. Hannah began providing therapy in a substance abuse treatment facility and is now the Clinical Director of a residential program. She worked for a few years with incarcerated adolescents in a long-term secure facility. She now works with individuals of diverse ages, histories, and treatment goals. Hannah is intensively trained and experienced in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), multiple somatic therapies, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Her practice is also informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS). She prioritizes creating a safe and validating, yet challenging, and enthusiastic relationship with her clients, based on her belief that the relationship between therapist and client is the cornerstone of effective therapy. As a yoga teacher and student, she understands the importance of cultivating a connection between mind and body. This connection and principles of mindfulness are aspects of her approach to healing. If clients resonate with it, she likes to incorporate spirituality into programs of personal growth. She is also inspired by the healing potential of psychedelic medicines, especially when their healing affects are assisted-by and integrated-with psychotherapy.
Hannah leads a virtual psychedelic integration group every Monday at 3pm MDT. https://www.cedarpsychiatry.com/groups
