Jake Colling, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I go at the pace of the person in front of me. The first few sessions are about finding what we want to focus on and what brings you here. I try to offer hands on solutions while being reflective and adaptive to whatever you bring in and want to process. Sometimes therapy looks like a lot of listening and free associating, and other times it looks like a lot of rocking and connecting to inner voices. It depends on where you want to go. My frame is reflexive and I pull from several modalities including psychoanalysis, sex therapy, somatic experiencing and internal family systems.
My goal is to walk with you on your journey, to encourage and grow awareness and to create understanding. I place an emphasis on connection, constructive discomfort, clarity, and courage. I will ask of you only what is safe to explore. I am here to center you as the expert and walk along side you on your journey. I offer expertise and lived experience in helping Romani people, Native Americans, Mixed-Race/culture, and LGBTQIA2S+ peoples. I’d love to hear from you and see if we’re a good fit, otherwise I can refer you to a trusted colleague.
I offer therapy services for individuals or couples. I work with integration primarily around psilocybin. I work with insurance companies to the best of my ability and offer sliding scale.
