Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Throughout my years in the field and working both with the underserved in community-based treatment centers and in Ketamine clinics, I have supported my clients as they addressed complex trauma, substance use disorders, and other mental health issues, utilizing a personalized approach dependent upon each client’s unique needs.
Growing up with family members in the mental health field, I quickly learned to bring awareness to the emotional and behavioral impact of a wide range of experiences, including intergenerational trauma. In my own journey through difficult life experiences, I became particularly fascinated by the interplay between nature and nurture, which led me to study how this manifested and what could be done to work with these influencing factors rather than against them. I arrived at graduate school by a somewhat circuitous route, initially studying alternative modes of therapy that continue to inform my practice.
