Licensed Professional Counselor

I start by listening to your story—both the experience you're integrating and the life context that brought you to psychedelic therapy. What were you hoping to heal? What actually happened? What are you still trying to make sense of? In our sessions, I create space for you to describe your experience in whatever way feels right—whether that's through words, images, metaphors, or silence. I won't rush you to "make sense" of something that might not fit into neat categories. We'll work together to identify the insights or shifts that feel most important, and then explore how to embody those in your daily life. Integration isn't about holding onto the peak experience—it's about allowing what you learned to change how you live. For those preparing for upcoming journeys (whether through legal ketamine therapy, clinical trials, or other means), I help with intention-setting, exploring what you're bringing to the experience, and creating a framework for making sense of what emerges. For those processing difficult experiences, I work with whatever came up—whether that's unresolved trauma, frightening visions, or the disorientation of ego dissolution. Sometimes the hardest journeys are the most transformative, but they need skilled support. I provide 100% telehealth services, which means we can work together from anywhere in Texas. Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes, and I accept most major insurances including United, Cigna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Aetna.
I came to psychedelic therapy not as a researcher or academic, but as someone who desperately needed healing. When my children died, the grief was crushing. My conservative Christian faith—which I'd built my entire life and career around—offered no answers, only platitudes. I was a Licensed Professional Counselor with decades of experience, and none of my training prepared me for the depth of that loss. My healing journey led me to psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. I grew up with DARE, "Just Say No," and "This is your brain on drugs," so this wasn't an easy decision. But I'd reached a point where I was willing to try anything that might help me find peace. What I experienced transformed not just my grief, but my entire understanding of healing, consciousness, and what's possible in therapy. That transformation is why I pursued specialized training at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), graduating from their Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research Certificate Program in 2024. I didn't do this to add another credential to my wall—I did it because I'd experienced firsthand how this work can heal wounds that seem impossible to bear. I've been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas for over 25 years and a Counselor Supervisor for more than 10 years. I specialize in psychedelic integration, traumatic grief, and religious trauma—three areas that often intersect in profound ways. I work with people who have had experiences with psilocybin, LSD, MDMA, ayahuasca, ketamine, and other consciousness-expanding medicines. Some of my clients are preparing for legal psychedelic therapy sessions. Others are integrating underground or self-directed experiences. Still others are processing difficult or confusing journeys that left them feeling more lost than found. I understand this work from both sides: as someone who has been profoundly helped by psychedelic therapy, and as a trained practitioner who can help you make sense of what you've experienced.
I offer individual psychedelic integration therapy for adults (18+) via telehealth throughout Texas. Psychedelic Integration Therapy: Support for integrating experiences with psilocybin, LSD, MDMA, ayahuasca, ketamine, 5-MeO-DMT, and other consciousness-expanding medicines. This includes preparation for upcoming journeys, integration of recent experiences, and processing of past journeys that still need attention. Trauma-Informed Integration: Specialized support for clients whose psychedelic experiences surfaced unresolved trauma, or who are using psychedelic therapy specifically to heal from PTSD, complex trauma, or traumatic grief. Religious Trauma & Psychedelic Integration: Many people who leave high-control religious systems find healing through psychedelic experiences. I help integrate both the deconstruction journey and the psychedelic journey, particularly when mystical experiences challenge or reshape your understanding of spirituality. Difficult Journey Processing: Support for challenging, frightening, or confusing psychedelic experiences. Not every journey is blissful, and the difficult ones often need the most skilled integration support. Ongoing Integration Support: Psychedelic integration isn't a one-time event. I work with clients over weeks, months, or longer to ensure that insights translate into lasting life changes. I do not provide the medicines themselves, nor do I sit with clients during journeys (both are illegal in Texas where I practice). My work focuses exclusively on preparation and integration—helping you make sense of your experiences and embody what you've learned.
