Jessica Pretak, LCSW

Psychotherapist
Branford CT
I sit with clients in the here and now, encouraging wonder and curiosity for what is coming up for them, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where each individual deserves support, empathy, and the encouragement of insight. I view psychedelic integration work as a vehicle for change, improvement, explanation, or understanding. My approach has been described as warm, kind, and intuitive.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I have made the leap to private practice after gaining experience in community mental health (treating young adults and adults) and in-home treatment (treating families, children, adolescents, and teenagers). I have gained training through the California Institute of Integral Sciences, becoming certified in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Research. I have also completed the 100-hour education program requirement with MAPS. I enjoy sitting with clients as they discover themselves over and over again.
