Laura Haberer, LCSW

Therapist
Chicago IL
My therapeutic practice involves many strategies, primarily mindfulness, body-based work, and radical acceptance. More than any strategy or practice I may have in my toolkit, my main objective is to co-create a space that makes my clients feel safe and heard, above all else. My hope is to work with clients to realize their strengths and define what is most important to them so that they can live a life that aligns with their values. I consider it a great privilege when someone allows me to enter their life as their therapist and I never take that for granted.
I earned my BA from the University of Illinois and then my Master's in Social Work from the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. I live and practice in the Chicagoland area. I completed a 10-month intensive Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy training with the Integrative Psychiatry Institute training me to provide integration from psychedelic experiences, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy as well other psychedelic-assisted therapies as they move from Schedule I medicines in the future pending FDA approval.
