Lauren Mishkin, LMHC

Licensed Mental Health Counselor
St. Petersburg FL
I create a warm environment that is caring, affirming, proactive, solution focused, and nurturing. I offer real life skills that can foster immediate relief through nervous system regulation tools combined with shifts in internal dialog. I strive to create an environment that integrates wisdom from the body, spiritual practices, evidence based treatments, combined with client's goals, beliefs, hopes, and aspirations.
Expect an integrated approach that offers a handbook to living with your nervous system while unraveling negative self-talk. Trauma stored in the body causes us to perceive threats when we are not in any grave danger- leading to anxiety, anger, addictions, relationship issues, depression, and health consequences. I have a Masters of Science from Springfield College and over 7 years working with trauma, substance abuse, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, and grief.
Integrative Counsel offers Ketamine-Assisted-Psychotherapy (KAP) in partnership with an organization called Journey Clinical. Ketamine-Assisted-Psychotherapy (KAP) uses ketamine as an adjunct to therapy to help people confront their mental illness and have more persistent breakthroughs and prolonged improvement in symptoms. Integrative Counsel takes on the therapeutic portion of the experience, giving you the space to set intentions before you take the ketamine, and to help you work through and integrate what comes up during your dosing session. Journey Clinical’s medical team supports the medical aspects, which includes determining if you are eligible for Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, creating a treatment plan just for you, prescribing Ketamine and keeping an eye on your outcomes.
