I’m an extroverted introvert- someone who deeply values solitude and people-watching, yet thrives on meaningful connection. I grew up in a small town in Nebraska and gradually made my way to larger cities, including a formative chapter living in the Dominican Republic. My time there opened my eyes to both the depth of human suffering and the beauty of simplicity; it reinforced the profound power of raw, authentic connection. It also confirmed my passion for helping others and exploring the complexities of the mind. I earned bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Spanish, and a Master’s in Clinical Social Work. Since then, I’ve worked across a range of public health settings. I continue working in public health while also maintaining a small private practice. My clinical passions lie in working with trauma, grief, relationships, spiritual/religious questions, addiction, and work-life stress. Many of the methods I now practice as a therapist, such as Reiki, EMDR, and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, are ones I first experienced as a client. They’ve been transformative in my own healing journey, and I chose to train in them because I believe so deeply in their potential to support others. I trust in the intelligence of the inner healer and the wisdom of plant medicine. On a personal note, I’m a lover of animals, plants, dancing, laughter, reading, naps, and movement. I’m also a proud single parent to a spirited young daughter- a role that continues to teach me how to laugh at life’s unpredictability, ask for help, find strength in solitude, and keep seeking genuine human connection. My hope is to connect with others in a meaningful way, to help people find what they’re looking for, to sit beside them in their journey, and to be fully present as they reconnect with themselves and the world around them.
