I’ve experienced despair, hope, loss, and joy, hope & vitality in life.
My life’s work includes over three decades of University work, various certifications, and supervised experiences in hospitals, hospice, recovery groups, religious settings, forensic work, and in international, indigenous cultural settings. I have specialized training as a Professional Life Master Coach and University Certification as a Peace & Conflict Negotiator and Certification in Leadership Education.
My primary means of caring for people involving helping people work toward solutions for their existence by understanding how to accept their life while shifting toward new commitments aligned to their primary values.
In order to best serve people in need, I continually study, research, and pursue advanced training. I hold multiple certifications across trauma and addictions treatment, autism and ADHD care, DBT, CBT, mindfulness, neurocriminology, neuropsychotherapy, EMDR (including the Flash Technique), Coherence Therapy, Rapid Trauma Processing, and Gottman- and EFT-based couples counseling.
I’ve been awarded International and National fellowships and research grants.
As we professionally partner together, my work is to help you process where you’ve been, who you are, and how you can move toward your authentically better future.
I am licensed to work independently in the State of Washington and my work in Oregon is facilitated under the supervision of the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors & Therapists, with direct Supervision by Zoe Pearson, LPC C1026, NCC 34422 and Jeff Johnson, LPC C5747.
