Michael Spertus, MD

Physician, Coach
Miami FL
Our work is individualized and collaborative, most often in a one-on-one setting. I offer sessions both in person and via telehealth, depending on your needs and location. I also provide groups and classes, which can offer additional support, connection, and shared experience. Our work together is flexible and may draw from a range of approaches, including mind-body medicine, hypnosis, coaching, and integrative therapies. Rather than following a fixed protocol, I tailor the process to you, often combining modalities in a way that feels most supportive and relevant. Some sessions are more structured and skill-based, while others are more open and exploratory. Throughout, the focus is on helping you access your own insight, resilience, and capacity for change. For ketamine-assisted therapy, I offer a setting that is intentionally more ceremonial than medicalized. This may include carefully curated music, therapeutic support, elements of spirituality or ritual, and, when appropriate and desired, energy-based practices. The goal is to create a safe, meaningful container that allows for deeper experience, insight, and lasting change. The inner healing intelligence of the individual is ultimately the agent of change. This perspective, popularized by Stanislov Grof, guides my work. My role is not to direct your experience, but to help create the conditions where your own healing process can unfold.
