How I Work With Clients
Collaborative & Compassionate
I believe therapy works best as a partnership. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and create a personalized plan that fits your unique needs.
Flexible & Eclectic Approach
With 19 years of experience, I draw from multiple evidence-based modalities—including CBT, solution-focused, and strengths-based therapy—to provide an approach that adapts to you rather than fitting you into a box.
Safe & Inclusive Space
I offer a supportive, judgment-free environment where you can process difficult emotions, navigate challenges, and build skills for lasting growth. As an LGBTQ+ ally, I am committed to affirming and inclusive care.
Practical Tools for Real Life
I focus on strategies that can be put into practice immediately, helping you manage stress, improve relationships, and gain a greater sense of balance in your daily life.
I’m Michelle—wife, mom, therapist, and someone who genuinely loves helping people feel more at ease in their lives.
I’ve spent years working in mental health across different settings—from the fast-paced intensity of inpatient psychiatric hospitals to the structured world of education, and now in the deeper, more personalized space of private practice. Each of those experiences shaped how I show up in the therapy room: calm, curious, nonjudgmental, and focused on what actually helps you feel better.
I work from a mix of evidence-based approaches like CBT, solution-focused strategies, and person-centered therapy, but I also keep learning and evolving. Lately, that’s looked like adding more trauma-informed and somatic techniques, DBT skills, and strengths-based work to help people connect with themselves in new, more compassionate ways.
Outside of work, I’ve been married for 18 years, and I’m raising a fierce and funny 10-year-old daughter who keeps me on my toes—especially during cheer competitions. I’m also a very proud dog mom. Life is full, often messy, and always teaching me something new—and that’s what I bring into the therapy space too: real-life experience, perspective, and a whole lot of heart.
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need a space to sort things out, I’m here for it. Let’s figure it out together.
