Mindi utilizes trauma informed therapies, therapies based in neuroscience and grounding techniques to work through assist clients with improving day to day overall functioning. She is diligent in helping to creating a desired state of mind and will assist you to improve your overall state of being. Mindi wants to encourage you to feel empowered and to take your power back. Mindi attended the University at Buffalo for her Bachelors degree in Psychology in 2010 and earned her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Medaille College in 2014.. Mindi considers herself a lifelong learner and maintains her license through NYS by attending continuous education trainings to further her experience and knowledge in psychology, neuroscience and new emerging fields such as psychedelics. Mindi completed the Polaris Insight Ketamine Therapy for Clinicians in August 2023. She is previously trained and linked with Journey Clinical out of NYC. Mindi attended the Psychedelics as Medicine conference January 2023 in Reykjavik, Iceland. Mindi has taken extensive training in trauma and holds an additional certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), is trained in EMDR from an accredited EMDRIA supported training. Mindi is a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 12 years of experience working with adults, children and families. Mindi has also worked in a variety of settings such as outpatient clinics, schools, a pediatric medical setting and has been in private practice for 5 years. Mindi is a two time cancer survivor and mother of two boys and owns her own private practice.
