Mishae Bailitis, MA
Gestalt and Somatic Psychotherapist
South Golden Beach NSW
My approach is collaborative, attuned, and grounded in the here-and-now. Whether you're preparing for a psychedelic experience, navigating a recent journey, or seeking deeper integration over time, I offer a steady, compassionate presence to support your process.
Relational and Somatic Grounding
Our work together begins by establishing safety, both within your nervous system and in our therapeutic relationship. I draw on the principles of Gestalt and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to help you stay connected to your present-moment experience. This includes tracking bodily sensations, emotions, and patterns of meaning-making that arise in and after expanded states.
Preparation
In preparation sessions, we explore your intentions, current psychological landscape, and any unmetabolized material that may influence your experience. Together, we build inner and relational resources, clarify expectations, and strengthen your capacity to meet the unknown with curiosity and care.
Integration
Integration is a process of honoring what’s been revealed, digesting what’s still unfolding, and translating insight into embodied action. I support you in staying with the emotional, cognitive, somatic, and relational layers of your experience—gently weaving them into the fabric of your everyday life.
Trauma-Informed and Respectful of the Mystery
I work with reverence for the power of non-ordinary states and with clinical skill in holding complex trauma, spiritual emergence, and meaning crises. I don’t pathologize your experience—I support you to be with it, understand it, and live more fully from what it’s taught you.
Pacing and Presence
Some clients come for a few focused sessions; others engage in longer-term psychotherapy. We co-create a path that suits your needs, whether you're seeking clarity after a single journey or deeper relational and somatic repair over time.
I offer a grounded, relational approach to psychedelic preparation and integration, drawing on over 12 years of experience as a Gestalt Psychotherapist and advanced training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and the Gottman Method. My work is rooted in nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, and relational repair—creating a supportive container for meaning-making, trauma resolution, and sustainable change.
I specialize in supporting individuals before and after non-ordinary state experiences, with a focus on integration that aligns insight with action. I hold space for the unfolding process, helping you translate expanded awareness into grounded transformation.
