Nicolette Bautista, PsyD, MBA
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Folsom CA
I see my role in the journeyer–facilitator relationship as that of a grounded, compassionate guide and witness. The medicine is the true teacher, and the journeyer’s own inner healing intelligence ultimately leads the process. My responsibility is to create and maintain a safe, supportive, and sacred container where the client feels held and free to explore whatever arises. I offer preparation to help clients enter the experience with clarity and intention, and integration afterward so they can anchor the insights into daily life. During the journey itself, I bring the presence, empathy, and attunement that have been shown to me by amazing facilitator-teachers — intervening only when safety or grounding is required — while trusting the wisdom of the client’s process. In this way, I walk alongside clients, honoring their autonomy and supporting their healing with humility, steadiness, and care.
Nicolette [Last Name], PsyD is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in complex trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and grief. She holds doctoral, master’s, and bachelor’s degrees in clinical psychology and is certified as both a Brainspotting Consultant and Professional Coach. Her advanced training includes work with Polaris Insight Center, The Fluence/Journey Clinical KAP program, and she is on track to receive certification as a Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapist through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in October 2025.
Nicolette’s approach is integrative and deeply intentional. She blends the rigor and safety of clinical psychology with wisdom traditions rooted in her lived experience—three years in the West African rainforest studying indigenous agriculture, and multi-year energy healing training with a Brazilian shaman, including immersive retreats in Mexico and Brazil.
She views the therapeutic space as a sacred container, where intention, set, and setting shape the healing journey. Through this dual lens, Nicolette supports clients in navigating both psychological healing and the ceremonial dimensions of psychedelic practice—honoring that transformation can emerge through challenging emotional depth experiences as well as moments of awe, unity, and connection.
