Richard Tatomir, MA

Canadian Certified Counsellor
Langley BC
I work through a 2-eyed-seeing (Western/Indigenous), Critical, Community Psychology approach to challenge explicit and implicit Systemic discrimination, including that which occurs to other cultural and religious minorities and oppressed persons (BIPOC, LGBTQ2SIA+, Disability, Socioeconomically/Occupationally/Educationally disadvantaged, and all the Intersections in-between), in order to improve access and health of equity-seeking communities and empower leaders and the communities they serve in understanding and breaking free of cultural and religious oppression, and developing more meaningful and safe lives and communities. I understand Psychedelics are powerful, but only one possible way of attaining mystical experiences, insights, and transformation, and have had my own or witnessed transformations of individuals, groups and even entire communities through dance, sweat lodge/hot/cold therapies, hiking, meditation, and animal assisted therapy (i.e. equine/horse), among others.
