Nature-Based Expressive Arts Therapist, EMDR Certified Therapist, Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Provider
Golden CO
I specialize in customized intensive retreats—half-day, full-day, or multi-day immersive experiences—as well as weekly 90-minute sessions for those who prefer ongoing support. I especially love working outdoors, where nature becomes an active part of the healing process, but I also offer sessions online for those who prefer or need a virtual space. These sessions take therapy beyond the office, blending deep, uninterrupted work with nature-based, creative, and somatic approaches to help you process and integrate in a way that feels more embodied and intuitive. Whether we’re engaging in EMDR, expressive arts, guided self-reflection, or psychedelic integration, our work together is designed to feel spacious and unhurried, allowing you the time you need to explore, process, and integrate at your own pace. With the expansive support of nature, we create an experience tailored to your healing process—one that feels restorative, meaningful, and uniquely yours.
I am a trauma-informed, nature-based expressive arts therapist and licensed professional counselor, with dual licensure in Massachusetts and Colorado. I received my Masters degree in Intermodal Expressive Arts Therapies from Lesley University in 2003. I was an expressive arts therapist and director of the Project Launch college and career access program at RAW Art Works from 2004-2013. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist. I am a Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Provider--completed 10 month training 2023-24 with Integrative Psychiatry Institute, including training in Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (additional training in this modality with Skylight Psychedelics), Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy, and MDMA-Assisted Therapy (with MAPS curriculum within IPI). In my private practice, I love to bring therapy clients "off the couch" and into the outdoors for therapy retreat intensives to help us connect with the multifaceted powers of nature, imagination, sense of humor, playfulness, and creativity to heal trauma and thrive. In addition to my private practice, I am also the founder of Well-Connected Therapist coaching and consulting, which I created to support neurodivergent and introverted private practice therapists to build community through embodied, authentic connection.
