Tamia Pleasants, LCPC, LPC

Founder and owner of NyLu Therapeutic Solutions, LLC, Tamia is native to the DC/MD metropolitan area and has almost 20 years in Behavioral Health/Counseling. Tamia has a Master's in Counseling from Northern Arizona University; she is a Board Certified Counselor (NCC), currently licensed to practice in Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia. Tamia is also certified in EMDR, and is an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) in Maryland, and Virginia. Overcoming issues of rejection, abandonment, stemming from childhood trauma has given Tamia passion to help others deal with their issues head on, in order to lead an unburdened life. Tamia was introduced to psychedelics in 2021 initially as a way to address trauma, but then also personally as a healing agent through perinatal/postpartum issues. This has led to a deeper understanding of how important set, setting, and integration is in healing the whole system.
