Stefany Wolfsohn MD / Ventura Center for Advanced Therapeutics
Camarillo CA
We function as an extension of your care team, coordinating with your therapist/psychiatry provider to plan treatment, tailor dosing, monitor safety in real-time, and share updates. Post-session integration is typically done with your established therapist; however, Dr. Wolfsohn can provide integration sessions directly when clinically appropriate or when a patient is between therapists to support continuity of care.
Ventura Center for Advanced Therapeutics is a physician-led ketamine clinic in Camarillo, founded in 2017 by Stefany D. Wolfsohn, MD, a board-certified anesthesiologist and integrative mental health provider who has been safely administering ketamine since 2007. The center was established to provide patients with a consistent, personalized relationship with one clinician from the initial consultation through the completion of their care. Dr. Wolfsohn personally conducts every evaluation, treatment, and follow-up, bringing anesthesia-level safety standards together with master’s-level clinical counseling training to support clear planning, calm presence, and thoughtful pacing.
The clinic’s intake process emphasizes careful screening and realistic goal-setting, with attention to medical history, medications, and readiness. Treatment sessions take place in a quiet, intentionally designed setting with medical-grade monitoring and comfort measures that reflect Dr. Wolfsohn’s two decades of procedural experience. Protocols are individualized and evidence-informed, with an emphasis on non-opioid approaches and steady outcome tracking. While specific offerings may vary, patients can expect access to multiple delivery routes for ketamine and, when indicated, adjunctive psychotherapy frameworks that help translate insights into daily life.
As a lifelong resident of Ventura County, Dr. Wolfsohn is committed to serving the local community and to the professional stewardship of this field. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, participates in faculty and peer-education roles within ketamine medicine, and convenes a local consultation group to support ethical, high-quality practice. Ongoing learning across medicine, clinical counseling, contemplative practice, and expressive arts continues to shape the clinic’s approach and environment.
Patients who come to Ventura Center for Advanced Therapeutics often face treatment-resistant mood conditions, PTSD, chronic pain syndromes, or existential/palliative care concerns. They will find a setting that values clarity, safety, and respect, led by a physician who believes deeply in each person’s capacity to heal and in the power of careful preparation, steady support, and measured follow-through.
Physician-led IV/IM and sublingual/oral ketamine; Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) with a co-therapist when indicated; integration support and select group offerings; IV hydration/vitamin therapies; and Tarotpy™ for imagery-based processing, each plan individualized to clinical needs and goals.
