I am dedicated to providing holistic patient-centered care combining both advanced training in psychopharmacology and personalized therapy. To that end, I draw on my training in various therapy modalities to enhance and complement any pharmaceutical approaches we may consider, including treatment with ketamine.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Stanford University, and then completed both medical school and graduate training in the neurosciences through the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of California, San Diego. There I studied the brain pathways involved in controlling actions. I then pursued my love of Psychiatry at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA, where I served as Chief Inpatient Resident of the UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital. I also completed fellowship at UCLA specializing in the treatment of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders.
