AK Psychology Group
New York City NY
We support clients across the entire psychedelic therapy process. After an initial intake, we offer a preparation phase tailored to each individual’s goals, history, and support needs. Ketamine sessions are conducted in person, with safety and emotional presence as foundational principles. Clients are also welcome to engage in integration sessions after past psychedelic experiences, even if those sessions took place elsewhere.
Following a medicine session, we prioritize integration—helping clients apply insights, build emotional resilience, and anchor change. Integration may include journaling, body-based practices, talk therapy, or co-created meaning-making processes. We also collaborate with a client’s existing therapist or psychiatrist to ensure continuity of care.
AK Psychology Group is a trauma-informed psychotherapy practice with locations in New York City and Westchester. We offer individual and collaborative care models with a special focus on psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. Rooted in both Western neuroscience and Eastern contemplative traditions, our approach integrates the latest research on neuroplasticity, critical periods, and emotional healing with practices that foster mindfulness, intention, and embodied integration.
Our clinic provides a safe, ethically grounded container for individuals exploring ketamine-assisted therapy and psychedelic integration. We support clients through every phase of the process—preparation, medicine sessions, and integration—with personalized care, reflective tools, and a deeply relational approach. We also work with individuals who are processing past psychedelic experiences, whether with ketamine, MDMA, psilocybin, or other substances, helping them make meaning and support long-term healing.
Our team is experienced in treating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and existential distress. We also collaborate closely with outside clinicians who refer patients for this specialized work. Clients are welcomed into a comfortable, home-like setting designed to promote emotional safety and presence. We view healing as a co-created process, and we are honored to walk alongside each person in their journey of insight and transformation.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
We offer structured, trauma-informed ketamine therapy in a safe, supportive setting. Intramuscular sessions are recommended for depth and consistency, with optional lozenge sessions available for maintenance and continued integration.
Preparation & Integration Support
Whether you are beginning psychedelic therapy or integrating a past experience, we offer customized preparation and integration sessions to help ground, process, and apply the insights gained.
Psychedelic Integration Therapy
We support individuals who are processing previous psychedelic experiences—including with ketamine, MDMA, psilocybin, ayahuasca, or LSD—even if those sessions occurred outside our clinic.
Extended Medicine Day Sessions
Half-day (5-hour) intensive sessions are available for individuals and couples. These extended sessions allow for deeper exploration, co-regulation, and emotional processing, with the support of one or two trained therapists.
Couples Sessions
Designed for relational healing and connection, couples sessions are co-facilitated by a lead therapist and a second co-therapist to ensure safety and attunement for both partners.
Collaborative Care with Outside Clinicians
We work with referring providers, including therapists and psychiatrists, to ensure continuity of care throughout the psychedelic process.
Parent and Family Consultation
For clients navigating psychedelic therapy in the context of family life, we offer optional parent, partner, or family support sessions to help integrate and communicate these experiences meaningfully.
