Andrew Hauckmann, MS

Mental Health Counselor
Portland OR
I offer an unconditionally judgment-free space where my clients can freely express their thoughts and opinions without fear of stigma or shame. There are no bad thoughts or feelings, just human ones. I believe everyone is doing their best at any given moment, and deserves compassion, no matter their history. Everyone is trying to understand how to live a fulfilling and satisfying life, how to die without regret, how to love and be loved. I help my clients embrace their whole, authentic self by helping them reevaluate their values, beliefs, and goals.
I am an professional counselor associate working on full licensure under the supervision of Dr. Peter H. Addy, who practices ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. I have lived in Portland since 2022. I facilitate abuse intervention groups at Allies in Change. Previously, I taught English in Taiwan for several years, and was a cryptologic linguist in the Air Force. I recently finished a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and my undergrad degree was in Professional Writing.
