Angela Amirault, ACA
Certified Addictions Technician and Psychedelic Guide
I work in a gentle and supportive manner. I believe the client knows themselves best and I am just there to help them on their journey.
I am an internationally trained psychotherapist with advanced training and credentialing in Mindfulness-Based Psychedelic Therapy with the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness. Originally from Nova Scotia, Canada, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Saint Mary’s University (2007) and a Graduate Diploma in Counseling and Psychotherapy from Dublin City University in Ireland (2013). Wanting to build on my knowledge and explore new techniques I also earned certificates in Art Therapy through the Dublin Art Therapy College (2014) and Mindfulness Based Approaches to Trauma through the Loreto Center (2015). I have also completed training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy through Noeticus Counseling Center and Training Institute (2020) and Solution Focused Group Therapy with Denver Center for Solution Focused Brief Therapy (2021). I have a desire to work with anyone who is looking for healing, change and growth. I have worked with a wide range of individuals and feel most connected to those who are struggling with self worth, anxiety, depression and trauma. I am called to this work and if you feel called to the experience then I would be honored to support you.
