Ann MacKenzie, MA

Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Solana Beach CA
I offer individual counseling sessions in-person in North County San Diego and virtually via telehealth. For those interested in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, I am partnered with a psychiatrist and medical staff who can safely screen for, administer and monitor these sessions. For those preparing to complete psychedelic-medicine work, I offer both preparation and integration sessions. I do not personally provide any psychoactive or controlled substances, and I do not provide referrals to any “underground” or illegal psychedelic services.
I am an integrative psychotherapist based in North County San Diego. Integrative Mental Health is my passion, and I support clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, grief, relationship or family stress, life transitions, substance abuse, spirituality, and medical problems. I have a special interest in working with adults looking for a mind-body-spirit approach who want to heal issues at their root, while making life-style changes that support their well-being. I received my Bachelors in Clinical Psychology from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada and my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego. I have provided therapy in a range of settings including hospitals, inpatient facilities, schools, outpatient mental health clinics, correctional settings and private practice.
