My training in somatic psychotherapy has taught me the importance of the mind-body connection. During my talk therapy sessions, I bring the body into the verbal narrative, encouraging clients to feel what’s coming up for them emotionally and sensationally. Body awareness helps clients deepen into their experience and reclaim parts of themselves they’ve pushed away.
Similarly, my somatic training leads the way during ketamine-assisted psychotherapy sessions. As the ketamine helps to soften defenses, I encourage clients to look inward, providing gentle guidance to help clients process their traumas somatically and reach resolution.
I graduated from Naropa University with a Master’s Degree in Somatic Counseling Psychology and a concentration in Body Psychotherapy. I have been facilitating body-centered talk therapy sessions since 2016 and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy sessions since 2018. I specialize in working with young adults who are looking to live a life that feels in alignment, show up authentically in their relationships, and foster a deep connection with themselves. I am well versed in trauma, and I focus on helping people process past incidents that feel like they’re holding them back in life.
