Claire Weiss, MA, RCC

Registered Clinical Counsellor
Langley BC
I work with adults seeking therapy for trauma, anxiety, chronic pain, addictions, and life transitions, as well as those curious about or engaging in psychedelic-assisted therapy. In our sessions, we might explore body sensations, dialogue with different parts of self, or practice grounding and mindfulness techniques. For clients interested in psychedelic work, I offer preparation to help clarify intentions and integration support to process insights or challenges arising from experiences with psilocybin, DMT, ketamine, MDMA, or other substances. My style is collaborative, warm, and deeply respectful. I tailor sessions to each person’s unique goals and pace, believing that meaningful change happens when you feel safe, supported, and empowered.
I’m Claire Weiss, MA, RCC, a Registered Clinical Counsellor and psychedelic therapist based in British Columbia, Canada. For over a decade, I’ve helped individuals navigate trauma therapy, anxiety therapy, PTSD, chronic pain, addiction, and life transitions. My journey into psychedelic-assisted therapy began in 2016 through personal exploration of how expanded states of consciousness can support healing and growth. Professionally, I’ve worked as Lead Therapist on clinical trials investigating psilocybin, DMT, and other substances for treatment-resistant depression and alcohol use disorder. I’m also an Ethics Advisor for the Psychedelic Association of Canada, a graduate-level instructor teaching psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and addictions, and the founder of Pathkeepers.ca, a professional community of practice for therapists. I’ve had the privilege of sitting in Indigenous ceremonial circles and learning from Indigenous practitioners and wisdom keepers whose traditions have held these medicines for thousands of years before the Western field of psychology began to study them. This lived experience shapes my deep respect for Indigenous lineages and my commitment to practicing psychedelic-assisted therapy in a way that honours and acknowledges those who have carried these teachings. As someone with lived experience of chronic illness and who identifies as neurodivergent, I bring personal insight and compassion to my work, especially when supporting individuals with diverse experiences, identities, and health challenges. If you’re curious about how therapy or psychedelic integration might support your healing journey, I’d be honoured to connect for a free consultation. I offer virtual sessions throughout British Columbia and in-person appointments in Langley, BC.
