Claire Weiss, MA, RCC

Registered Clinical Counsellor
Langley BC
While I am trained in several specific treatment protocols, my approach is integrative and specifically tailored to fit the unique circumstances, culture, presenting issues, symptom severity, and intentions of each client. I’m told I have a gift for holding the tension between highly rigorous standards of clinical safety with compassion, respect, and traditional wisdom. My work with clients always begins with a phone consultation, where I can answer your questions and discern if we’re the right fit for each other. Depending on the type of treatment you’re interested in, this call may include screening questions, and a discussion of contraindications and the overall process. If we both agree to move forward together, we will collaborate on a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs. I follow a three-phase treatment process that integrates harm-reduction practices, and emphasizes thorough preparation and long-term integration. I believe these are critical factors in the efficacy and safety of any treatment experience. The process may include virtual or in person sessions, or a blend of both, and is unique to each person. No single approach is the right fit for everybody. I am committed to aligning my therapeutic process with current best practices in the field of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, and I adhere to the Psychedelic Association of Canada (PAC) Code of Ethics.
