Colby Martin, PA-C
As an Integrative practitioner I encourage any treatment that either has good evidence or the individual feels is beneficial to them. I continue to prescribe conventional medications for mental health but feel that there is much more than can be done. In addition to counseling on lifestyle I often perform functional medicine labs to identify any contributing factors such as nutritional/hormonal imbalances, infections or toxins that interfere with mood and neurotransmitter function. I believe there is a strong connection between gut health and mental health. For ketamine treatments I personally provide the preparatory and integrative support needed to get the most out of treatments and provide options for therapists for those who need additional support.
Colby is a Physician Assistant who focuses on holistic mental health treatment. He developed a special interest in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine while working at a community health center. He strives to be up to date with the most current evidence based treatment for mental health including not only medication, but proper nutrition, exercise and alternative therapies. Through his own study and the experiences accounted to him by multiple patients he learned about the value of psychedelia for mental health. After spending time being mentored at a ketamine clinic he decided to open a ketamine and holistic mental health practice with the support of two local Doctors.
