Craig is trained in Contemplative Psychotherapy and believes that each individual has innate wisdom and intelligence that will guide their path towards health. Craig works to build a therapeutic space where this wisdom and intelligence can begin to arise naturally through the practice of self-awareness, mindfulness, and deep exploration. Craig believes in a cooperative and client-centered approach that incorporates creativity, depth work, mindfulness practices, and other modalities for transformation.
Craig Salerno is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) who strives to merge the evidenced-based practices of Western psychotherapy with the wisdom and compassion of Eastern psychology. Craig earned his Master of Arts from Naropa University in Contemplative Psychotherapy in 2013 and has been Adjunct Faculty with Naropa since 2017. Craig is the former Clinical Director of NorthStar Transitions’ and brings a strong focus on group psychotherapy, mindfulness, and harm reduction approaches to working with substances and psychedelic medicines. Craig works in private practice offering psychedelic therapy, integration, and group support, and co-founded the Boulder Wellness Ketamine Collective.
